About

Who am I? I’m a person with a lot of ideas in her head just waiting to gain life on paper. I’m always either reading, writing, or thinking about stories to read or write. I guess I’m a little obsessed with stories and books and all of that. So I think that makes me a writer. And hopefully one day I’ll also be an author.

When you look at me the first thing you’ll notice will probably be my hair. Red. Unnatural. Probably bright red. People tend to tell me I should color my hair chocolate brown or something, but I just can’t. I’ve tried. I just really like my red hair. That’s me. It’s more than just a color on the outside, it’s how I feel on the inside, it’s who I am.

Other things you might notice are a couple of tattoos and maybe a scar or two. I have more though. You just can’t see them. Some are covered by scraps of fabric, others by skin. And they all have a story to tell.

I love cats and I do have cats. My two big girls live with my mother, because it would be cruel moving them all the way here. And then when I decided I needed a cat here with me, I was chosen by a sweet little girl and was adopted by her.

In my purse you’ll always find a book (or my e-reader) and some writing supplies (usually small notebooks and some pens and pencils).

Some of the quotes and sayings I like:

“Sing in me, Muse, and through me tell the story.” ~ Homer (translated by Fitzgerald)

“Four things you can’t recover: The stone, after the throw. The word, after it’s said. The occasion, after it’s missed. The time, after it’s gone.”

“Respect is good. And we all like it.” ~ My Mom

You can find me on twitter, Facebook, and GoodReads.
